Happy Lunar New Year Full Moon

Last Monday was the first full moon of the new Lunar Year. Koreans celebrate by building big bonfires and tossing in their messages for the future. We went to the nearby Gwangali beach and hung out by the fire.

Some people dressed up and played their drums.

A little ways down from the beach, we came across a crowd of people watching some sort of ceremony. One of the female performers put a man on her back and danced around.

Then they picked up the pig and danced with that. People also put money in the pig's mouth.

We ended our evening stroll along the beach at the good gelato shop and then went home.
